It’s rumored that Michaels favors movie stars over television stars when selecting the celebrity host of the week but, in truth, it’s usually based on what’s happening in entertainment right at that moment. And while it’s been suggested that Michaels doesn’t choose television stars because of their tight filming schedules, studio execs have spoken out anonymously to say that they would gladly work around Saturday Night Live’s tight schedule to get their client the publicity and exposure SNL brings.
